GEORGE LEE POWE
PEARL, MS


Mr. George Lee Powe, 87, died October 9, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Pearl Presbyterian Church with interment at 2 PM at Holder Cemetery near Bay Springs. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM at Baldwin-Lee and Tuesday from 9:30- 10:30 AM at the church. Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home of Pearl is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Powe was a veteran of WWII and Korea, having served in the US Navy and was a retired mechanic for Truck...

Mr. Powe was a veteran of WWII and Korea, having served in the US Navy and was a retired mechanic for Truck Pro where he worked for a number of years. Mr. Powe was a Ruling Elder at Pearl Presbyterian Church and enjoyed golf. He is preceded in death by his great grandson, James Lee Poling.
Mr. Powe is survived by his wife, Margaret Powe of Pearl; daughter, Ellen Arnold (Terry) of Brandon; son, David Powe (Linda) of Brandon; brother, James R. Powe (Betty) of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Anna Arnold Odom (Paul), Aaron Arnold, Kristen Powe Windham (Jake), Danielle Powe, Carrie Willis and Robin Willis.
